LaKeysha Chantay Bryant was born on June 5,1980 in Nashville, TN to Annetta Bryant and the late Calvin “Cootie” Bryant, Sr. She departed this life on October 31, 2024 at Alive Hospice.
LaKeysha, affectionately known as Keysha B. was educated in Metro Nashville Public Schools where she took up honor classes and excelled greatly in her studies.
Keysha accepted Christ at an early age and was united with Watson Grove Baptist Church under pastorship of the late Rev. Curtis Goodwin. Later in life, she rededicated her life and united with Good News Fellowship under the pastorship of Dr. Minister Geneva Hall and the late Rev. Robert Hall where she served in the choir.
Keysha was a kind, caring, and loving person. She was best known for making people laugh and being the life of the party. She will always be known and remembered for her beautiful smile, and outgoing and energetic spirit that lit up every room.
Keysha is proceeded in death by father, Calvin “Cootie” Bryant, Sr., maternal grandparents, Clarence, Sr. and Mattie Blackburn, paternal grandparents, Henry Church, Sr. and Beatrice Bryant, brother, Keith Batey.
Keysha leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving daughter, AnTondra Bryant, grandchildren, Anthony and A’lani Brown, Jabari Jones, Jr., devoted mother, Annetta Bryant, devoted siblings, Calvin “Fridge” Bryant, Jr. and LaShana Bryant, nephews, Brayden Bryant-Watts and Calvin “Lil Fridge” Bryant, III., nieces, Treasure and Cerenity Bryant, great aunt, Elizabeth Bryant, devoted aunt, Janice Blackburn, aunts, Shirley Boyd and Barbara Bryant, uncles, Clarence (Mary) Blackburn, Harvey (Barbara) Boyd, Henry Church Bryant and Milton Bryant, God-Mother, Beverly Jackson, special aunts, Gwendolyn Shannon, Marquita Stanton, Valerie Church, Earlean Jones, Josalyn Smith, Yolanda Richardson, and Gwendolyn Weakley, devoted cousin, Allencia Blackburn, special friend, David Lillard, best friend, Latonya Ransom, friends, Shanta Brooks, Keda Webster, Antoineka Stanton-Turner, Dominique West, Marquita Benford, Ronka Spencer, Ebony Taylor, Lana Compton, Sherita Murray, a host of cousins, family, and friends including The Ransom Family, Hill & Miller Family, Doss Family, Burleson Family, Webster Family, Shannon Family, McCutcheon & Matthews Family, Davis & Hutcherson Family, Lillard Family, Brooks Family, Muse Family and the entire Blackburn and Bryant Families.
