Kyrin (Ky) Phillip Marshall Gardner was born on March 31, 2000 in Nashville, TN to Ruth M. Gardner. He was preceded in death by twin sister, Kyra Rosina Marcia Gardner, grandmother, Oma Rosina (Robert) Phillips, grandfather, Opa Marshall W. Gardner, aunt Carmen A. Collins and best friend Ty’Vonceea (TyTy) Hayden. He was the third of four children. On February 26, 2024, Kyrin made his transition to heaven.
He attended Davidson County Metro schools. Kyrin accepted Christ at the age of 10 and became part of the body of Christ and was a true believer, and tried to live a life that was pleasing to God. He enjoyed football, basketball, bowling, and most of all being with family. Kyrin made a lot of people smile and never said no to helping anyone. He was also a part of the MOG Men of God at St Luke Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Frank D. Stevenson. Kyrin graduated from the REAL (Reach Excellence As Leaders) program under the program director Mr. Ron Johnson.
To cherish and celebrate his memories and legacy, Kyrin leaves his loving and supporting family including his devoted mother Minister Ruth Gardner, Father Tommy Neal, Brother Leonardo (Leslie) Gardner, sister LuCretia (Everitte) Gardner, step sister Unique Henderson, a devoted niece, Justyce Buford, Uncle Rico (Sandy) Phillips, devoted Aunt Ernestine Gardner, Aunts Linda, LaDonna and Ty’ Rese Gardner, Aunt Taronda Anglin, devoted nephews, Leonardo Gardner Jr., Jamari and Jaden Falls, Cedric Waddy, special friend, Antoine Howse, a loving and devoted girlfriend Stephanie Talley, step-son Danterrious (Doodie) Talley, special great-nieces Aries and Navi Bender, Egypt Davis, Saiyvn Richardson, Saniyah Gardner and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and friends.
