Kelly Jones

JONES, Kelly, USAF (RET.) Age 79. Departed this life at VA Medical Center in Nashville, on November 27, 2011. Mr. Jones was the son of the late Harry and Rosie Lee Jones. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Harry Jones, Jr., and Joseph Jones. He is survived by daughter, Karen Hudson, Nashville; son, Kelvin I. Jones (Marilyn), Whites Creek, TN; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Robert, Kelvin & Karmel; step-grandchild, Melanie Mootry; 4 great-grandchildren, Davin, Jatavia, Michael-Allen, Kennedy; brother, Carl L. Jones (Kazumi), Apple Valley, CA; sisters, Mary M. Pressley, Nashville, TN, Myrtle L.A. Jones, Lake Forrest, CA; former wife, Margaret Jones; aunts, Mabel Nicholson & Idessa Driver; nephew, Carlos Jones; nieces, Clarissa Jones & Nicole; a host of relatives and devoted friends, John Hom, Minnie Noble, Betty Walker, Margie Darnes & Ruth Washington. Mr. Jones retired from the United States Air Force in 1978 after 23 years, of service. Following his military career Mr. Jones had a prosperous career with Tosce refinery in Concord, CA, during his retirement he enjoyed boating, fishing and traveling, He will be missed by many.
