Katherine "Kat Bird" Mills

Katherine Mills “Kat Bird” was born on April 14, 1958 in South Carolina to the union of Eula Bell Campbell and Willie Campbell. She departed this life on Friday, February 18^th, 2022.

Katherine was educated in New Castle Indiana Public Schools attending Chrysler High School. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Bethany Church in New Castle, Indiana.

Katherine was employed with Centennial Medical Center for a number of years, until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, watching tv, feeding and helping other, and spending time with family and friends.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents Eula and Willie Campbell, sister Deloris Campbell, and her brother Willie Campbell Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories son Ricky Woods, daughter Ashley (DeMarkus) Curll, sisters Helen Campbell, Janie Campbell, Christine Campbell, brother Calvin Campbell, grandchildren Ricky Fletcher, Tywan Fletcher, Tynika Fletcher, Tykerria Foxx, Kiosha Garrett, Ricky Malone, Mikayha Goins, Keon Malone, Keondra Malone, Heaven Curll, Onna Curll, Royalty Curll, Driyaha Curll, Devonte Malone-Foxx, Kemarion Malone, Kaliyah Malone, great grandchildren Tayden Fletcher, Tyonna Fletcher, A’maurion Trice, Riley Flemmings, devoted friends Retta Jordan, Trisha Ferguson, Ricky, Terri, Sharon Moody, Laporsha Foxx, Shetika Fletcher, godsons Charles Jones, Carlos Dickerson, Quentin Cane, and a host of other relatives and friends.
