Katherine Hannah Arnold

Katherine Arnold made her transition at the age of eighty-eight.

Kat as she was affectionately known, was the second child of Andrew Arnold Sr. and Roberta Snell-Arnold who preceded her in life as well as her Sisters: Robbie Gray and Jannette Young; Brother Andrew Arnold Jr.; and Son Dale Arnold.

Kat had a zest for life driven by her two passions that filled her life with extraordinary joy. She loved being a Nurse and Traveling. Both of which she continued into her eighties.

Kat believed, nurses have a special power to change people's lives and leave a lasting impression, and she wanted to contribute to that. “"55 years of being a nurse and I have never had a regret about my career choice. As a nurse, I had the privilege of helping others when they are the most vulnerable. Its. There is nothing better than attending a birth, holding the hand of someone who is dying, or helping someone achieve a better life through improving their health. It is a legacy that will live on long after you are gone. The patients and families will remember your warm smile, your gentle touch, the knowledge you shared, and the fact that you cared for them.”

Kat traveled to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, numerous islands in the Caribbean, and extensively throughout the United States. Her special travel interests included guided sightseeing tours by bus and boat cruise; visiting historic homes and monuments, museums, art galleries, and major attractions; attending live performances and sampling local cuisine; but her number one priority while traveling was to meet and connect with the locals and fellow tourists, who she had the amazing ability to engage and entertain while being personally enriched by the experience.

Katherine’s gift to the world was that she had a pure heart that vibrated through her presence and made family, friends, and strangers alike know that they could trust her.

Katherine is survived by her most trusted son Terry Arnold, her son Cecil Cochran; Grandsons: Michael Richards, Gino, Terry Jr, Timothy, and Taylor Arnold. Granddaughters: Michelle Arnold and Selina Cochran; Nieces: Roberta Littlejohn, Robin Young, Brittany, Marilyn and Sandra Arnold. Nephew’s: Robert Arnold, Jarreau (Jayden and Noah), Nicholas Littlejohn, Marcus Clay, Jordan and Jason Jr.
