Karen Diane McKinnon departed this life on the early morning of Sunday, April 2, 2023. Karen was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 28, 1956,

She is the daughter of Washington Harrison Locke and Lorraine Locke.

Karen moved to Nashville, Tennessee at a young age, this is where she lived and raised her family.

Karen attended Metro Nashville Public School Systems, graduating from Maplewood High School. She was Baptized into Christ at Kings Lane Church of Christ and she later became a member of Jackson Street Church of Christ, where she was a faithful member until her passing.

Karen worked at Vanderbilt, Greyhound, Crestview, and other healthcare facilities. She worked at Richland Place before she became ill and retired.

Karen loved to crochet, work crossword puzzles, and spent time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Washington and Lorraine Locke.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory sons, Gregory (Yolanda) Locke, Andreas Martinez, brothers, Willie (Marsha) Brown, Gregory Allen Locke, sister, Lisa Marie Locke, granddaughters, Jada Locke, Shonda Locke, grandson, Andreas Martinez, Jr., great grandson, Isaiah Hughes, great granddaughter Kristian Wiseman, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
