Julius Jones, Jr.

Mr. Julius Jones, Jr. was born May 16, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York to the union of Julius Jones and Delores Luke Jones. He departed this peaceful life on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Julius was educated in the Brooklyn, NY. School System graduating from Eli Whitney High School.

Julius was married to Belinda Davis Jones from 1976 – 1982, he was later united in marriage to Kathy Moses Jones 1984-2000.

Julius accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was a proud member of Metropolitan Interdenominational Church.

Julius was employed as an Electrician for over 40 years. He was dedicated to the task and very good at his craft.

In his spare time, he enjoyed playing chess, motorcycles, watching sports especially basketball. But his passion was spending time with family especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

Julius was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Delores Jones, and brother, Ronald Jones.

Those left to cherish and celebrate his memories are his son, Tyshawn (NaKisha) Davis, daughter, Takeisha (Charles, Jr.) Griffin, grandchildren, Marquis Davis, Tyanna Davis, Nakaiya Davis, Jayden Lane and Julian Lane, sister, Brenda Jones, niece Tiffany Allen a host of other relatives and dear friends.
