Josephine Miles

Ms. Josephine Iolia Miles was born September 7, 1930 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Charles Harwell and Pearl Jones Harwell. Josephine departed this fruitful life on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Josephine was educated in the Giles County public schools and was a graduate of Giles County High School. She was baptized and was currently a member of Jackson Street Church of Christ.

Josephine married John Miles in 1954. She was employed as a cashier in various retail stores throughout the city of Nashville.

In her spare time Josephine enjoyed gardening, exercise and cooking.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving sons, James W. Johnson, Ronnie B. Miles, and John L. Miles, daughter, Jackie E. White, numerus grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren. Josephine was loved by all.
