John Damien McClain

Mr. John Damien McClain was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 17, 1980 to the late Donald Jerome Johnson and Bethany McClain who preceded him in a new life.  John transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on May 31, 2024 at his residence.

John attended McGavock High School and later studied business and technology. John was very industrious.   He was self-employed and was skilled in-home renovation,  carpentry and flooring.

John devoted much of his time with family, studying, laughing, joking, and just being in his presence you felt his heartfelt love and sincerity.  He loved everybody.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his grandmother Joanne McClain.

Left to cherish his memories are children, Depriko McClain, Damoni McClain, Dyamond Hayden, Denesha Hayden; sisters, Tabitha (Marcus) Beasley, Tosha, Kristen McClain, Donielle Johnson (Eric Bell); three grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews whom he dearly loved. Friends too many to name that he deeply cared about.
