Johnna B. McKinnie

Johnna Benice McKinnie, Age 62 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away Sunday April 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Johnnie and Gloria Verdell, and brother Toby Leonard.

She is survived by loving sisters, Patricia Judkins, Nashville, TN, Dr. Loria McKinnie, Brownsville, TN, brother , Cle Vasquez, Jr., Atlanta, Ga., aunts, Cresa Bailey and Ellen Pugh Fannie Leonard, Nashville, Tn., Shirley Fentress, Chicago, Ill., and uncle, Prentice Leonard, Nashville, Tn., uncle, El Senzengakulu Zulu, Washington, DC, Isaac McKinnie (Geneva), Bolivar, Tn. nieces , Shalonda Vasquez and Ebony Vasquez, Atlanta, Ga.; great-niece , Kaitlyn Vasquez, great nephews, Bobby Vasquez, Andrew Vasquez and Chase Vasquez, Atlanta, Ga; one great-great niece and one great -great nephew as well as a host of cousins, including the Bass, Dixon, Gates, Humphries, Leonard, Locket, Otey, Pitt, Fentress, McKinnie, Odom and Zulu families.
