Joanne Benton Mckinley

JoAnne McKinley, age 75 passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Trevecca Center for Rehab and Healing in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on February 14, 1948 in Key West, Florida to the late James and Dorothy Benton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel McKinley, and daughter, MingCorya McKinley-Gaddes.

JoAnne received her formal education from Metro Davidson County Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee.

She is survived by her daughters, Monzelle (William) Richardson, Tammy Davis; grandchildren, Latasey McKinley, Ashawnee Elam, Justin (Jori) Pye, SaCorya McKinley, MarCorya McKinley; great grandchildren, Coryan McKinley, D’Cari McKinley-Hyde; brothers, James Benton, Charles Benton; a host of other relatives and friends.
