Jo Ann Huff Felts was born December 31, 1952 in Bowling Green, Ky. to Oliver Huff and Evelyn Carnahan. She was one of twelve children. Her family relocated to Franklin, Kentucky where she was raised until she turned sixteen. After turning sixteen she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee to raise her own family. She was employed as a secretary until she retired for health reasons.
Jo Ann was a loving, caring and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was not afraid to tell you like it was. She always told you the truth whether you liked it or not. As her children, these words of encouragement, wisdom, and comfort kept us in line, but spoiled at the same time. We knew we were loved. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and would have given them the world.
She loved her husband, Chris, wholeheartedly, he was truly her best friend. Her heart was so big that she had a slew of children that weren’t her blood, but by friends of her own children.
Jo Ann was well-known for her country cooking, especially her fried chicken and deviled eggs. She loved fashion and was always dressed to the nines, hair big, makeup done, and all clothes starched, ironed and matching. She will truly be missed by her loved ones, friends and extended family.
Those left to mourn her passing and celebrate her memories are her loving and devoted husband, Christopher Thomas Felts, children, Charles (Jessica) Creasy, Jr., and Stacey (Anthony) Alexander, two step children, Nikki and Jeremy Felts, six grandchildren, Stormy Creasy, Charles Creasy, III, Jasmine Alexander, Jordan Alexander, Anthony Alexander, Jr., Patrick Creasy, three step-grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
