Mr. Jeffrey “Jerome” Newsome A lifetime warrior and friend was born into this life on August 13, 1962, to Eddie Willie and Gladys Newsome.
He traded his earthly life for eternity on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
Jerome professed a hope in Christ at an early age at St. Paul Primative Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Zack Cheatham.
He was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools. Jeffrey was a man of many talents.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Gladys Newsome, brothers, Eddie, Henery, William, Terry, sisters, Peggy Ann, Betty Laster and Margo Vaughter.
Jerome will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sandra Newsome, devoted daughter, LaToya Ussery, son, Jeffrey D. Newsome, grandchildren, Porcha, Tanjanekia, La’Brian Quirrion and Jalayah, stepchildren, Lashaun, Jermaine Dobbins and Maekesha McClain, brothers, Thomas, Vernon, Jospeh Newsome, sister, Pynthia Newsome, god, brothers, and sister, James Ussery and Keva (Derrick) Leonard, nieces, Ministers Lamyai (Jermain) Majors, Pynthia Vaughter, LaQuesa (Jermandes) Mayberry, Doretha (Derrick) Jones, and Christy Douglas, nephews, Aaron, Lonnie Newsome, William, Antywan Vaughter, Antywan Dangerfield, devoted friends, Andra Ussery, Sandy McClain and Sandra Osborn, and a host of other relatives, grandchildren and friends.
