Janet was born on February 18, 1958 to Abena Tabi Nkrumah and Kwadwo Tontoh in Ntonso, Ashanti in Ghana. Janet attended a vocational college where she was trained in home sciences and became a professional seamstress and cook. During her time in the United States, Janet worked in the hospitality industry. Janet worked hard during her long career and eventually retired in April 2023 from Charter Senior Living of Hermitage, where she was recognized many times as Employee of the Year. Janet spent the last years of her life to family, loved ones, traveling, and relaxation.
Janet deeply loved all of her family and loved ones and remained in close contact with them whether they were near or far. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, traveling, and gardening. Janet loved the LORD and maintained a strong and deep faith throughout her years.
