Ivory Joe Hayes

Ivory Joe Hayes was born in Waverly, TN in 1959 to Robert Tharpe and Juanita Hayes Tharpe.  He grew up in Camden, TN as one of 9 children, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Lauren Elise Hayes, he is survived by his remaining children, all of Nashville, TN. Joseph (Jocelyn) Hayes, Katie (Jess) Williams, Gracie Hayes (Bryant Piercey) Kirsten Hayes, Samuel Hayes and Amelia Hayes. Joe was also preceded by his mother, Juanita and a younger brother, Clay Tharpe. Joe is survived by six grandchildren: Jaida, Ryleigh, Isabel, Joseph, Quinton and Ivory Hayes.  In addition, Joe is survived by loving nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
