GARDNER, Helen Marie CaterAge 89 of Nashville. November 25, 2011. Marie was a retired employee of Tennessee State University. Preceded in death by her husband, William Gardner, Sr. She leaves behind a host of family and friends. She is survived by loving & devoted daughters, Brenda (Allen) Demonbreun, Judith (Donald) Jones & Doris Lockridge, all of Nashville; son, William (Marian) Gardner, Jr., Atlanta, GA; devoted granddaughter, Melissa Demonbreun; devoted grandson, Brandon Demonbreun; great-granddaughter, Jade Demonbreun; devoted nieces, Dorothy DeGraffenreid, Venitra Winters, Allison DeGraffenreid, Stacey Simons, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; nephews, Allen DeGraffenreid, AZ & Ronald King, Nashville; cousin, Roberta Lane; loving godson, Rev. Marcus Jordan; close family & friends, Edna Mae Davis, Doris Wade, Cora Patton, Kevin Marshall & Thomas Jones. Viewing Friday, December 2, 2011 with family receiving friends 4-6 p.m. Visitation Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 11 a.m. - 12 Noon, with funeral to follow at Terrell Broady Funeral Home. Rev.
