Harry Leon Wade, 81, was born in Nashville, Tennessee on May 24, 1942, to Oscar and Mary Wade, Jr. Harry accepted Jesus Christ early in life. He entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Harry graduated from Pearl High and continued his education at Tennessee State University. There he met his wife, Jo Ann Reel, whom he married on April 8, 1964 and this union was
blessed with three beautiful daughters.
Harry and Jo Ann moved to Chicago Heights, Illinois, where he became employed at Ford Motor Company. He continued his education in Electrical Engineering, receiving two certifications from Coyne Electronic Institute of Chicago. He went on to pursue an Associate in Arts Degree
from Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, Illinois, a Bachelor of Science in Education from Chicago State University, and a Master of Arts from Governors State University in Park Forest South, Illinois. Harry was a proficient, expert and accomplished golfer. He loved to watch and play the game.
Harry leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Stephanie Anderson, Marea (Richard) Foster, and Lisa (Doyle) Dalton; former wife, JoAnn Wade; sisters, Francine (Jack) Vaughn, Carolyn Cannon, and Dorothy Hall; brothers, James (Lotie) Jackson and Calvin (Amentheia)
Jackson; grandchildren, LaSaia Wade, Essence Wade, Sachet Foster, Christina Viola, Ariel and Morgan Anderson; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
