Harold Q. Taylor was born February 2, 1950, the son of A. L. Taylor and Florence Taylor in Nashville, Tennessee.
Harold was educated in the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. He was employed for many years by Metro General Hospital until his retirement. He was a member of Salem AME Church, where he served as an usher.
Harold departed this life on Friday, October 9. 2021 at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his parents, A.L. Taylor and Florence Taylor; brothers, A. L. Taylor, Jr., James Taylor, and Leroy Taylor.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted companion of 20 years, Denise Bowers; stepchildren, Tonya Waller, Antwan and Milton Bowers, Jr; grandson, Tristan Waller; brothers, Kenneth (Betty)Taylor, Wayne (Emma) Taylor; Wendell (Nola) Taylor of Ohio; sisters, Barbara Taylor-Carter; Doris Taylor Williams, Cecelia (James)Taylor Dell of Florida, Patricia (Michael) Taylor Gumn of Hendersonville, TN; and host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Viewing Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 1-6, visitation Wednesday October 20, 2021, 10-11 with funeral to follow at fh. Burial in Greenwood North Cemetery.
