Halbert Poole Jr. was born July 1, 1973 to Halbert and Viola Poole in Indianapolis, Indiana. He departed this life on Friday, February 18th, 2022, at
Halbert accepted Christ at an early age and united with New Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Halbert attended Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. He was employed by AWP as a certified flagger and did parttime work as a car auction transporter.
Halbert loved to do maintenance work on his own car and also did brake jobs and oil changes for family and friends. Visitation Saturday March 5, 2022, 11-12 with funeral to follow at New Faith Missionary Baptist Church 3010 Hummingbird. Burial in Greenwood North.
Halbert was preceded in death by his three sons DaMontez Poole, Halbert Poole III, and Eric McClendon.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents Halbert and Viola Poole, his brother Christopher Poole, his sister Toshua Robertson, his grandaddy Columbus Heard, his five daughters LaNeisha Poole, Latika Poole, LaNitra (Cornelius) Henshaw, Shermaine Poole, and LaKendra Poole, and his six sons Antonio Poole, LeQontae Poole, Deontez Poole, Marquis Poole, Frederick Carney, DeAndre Jordan, 14 grandchildren, a devoted cousin LaToya Shack, a devoted great niece Naomi, Manzanarea, a devoted caregiver/ friend Lisa Sesler, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
