Gale Delores James was born on October 31, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Liddie M. Hunter Braddy and Monroe Hunter, Sr. She entered into rest on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Gale was educated in Nashville Davidson County Public School Systems. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Kenneth James on April 11, 1978, they enjoyed 34 years of marriage, until his passing.
Gale was employed with Nashville Wire Display for 30 years. She loved puzzle books, feeding fish, scary movies, and spending time with her ten grandkids.
Gale was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth James, her mother, Liddie Braddy, her step father, Percy Braddy, brother, Monroe Hunter Jr. (wife, Annie B. White), and sister, Dorothy Smith.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her children, Georgia Crawford, (twins) Clifton and Karen James (fiancé Maurice Sweet), son, Tyreck (Ashiely) Lyons, grandchildren, Mitchell, Shakare, Tyreck and Kentrell Lyons, Keleth, Kamauree Sweet, (twins) Richard, Roshanda Brown, Makala, Cobe, great grandchild, Kaiden Lyons, brother, Myles (Gina) Hunter, sisters, Dolly Allen, Funtina Carlton, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
