Freddie Lee Gipson

Freddie Lee Gipson was born on February 29, 1956 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Doris and Fred Gipson. He departed this life on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

 Freddie accepted Christ at an early age and later became a member of Scott Avenue Church of Christ. He was educated in Nashville Davidson County Public Schools, graduating from Maplewood High School. 

In 1974, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Charlotte Anita Rose, they enjoyed 48 years of marriage. He was employed with UPS, Production Steel, BNA Nashville Airport Authority for 30 years. He enjoyed grilling, fishing, and gardening.

 He leaves to cherish his wife Charlotte, daughter Lucretia Renee, 2 granddaughters Dana and Jocelyn, brothers Albert, Malvin (Brenda), sisters Etta Jean Wilkerson, Louise Gipson, nieces and nephews Ghilunda, Michael, Nicole, Autumn, Letecia, Caitlan, Malvin, and a host of extend family and friends. Visitation Monday February 14, 2022, 1-5pm at funeral home. Social Distancing enforced, Mask Required. Private Graveside Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022 at Greenwood North
