Frank Emanual Ferguson entered the world on August 10, 1947 as the first born to Annie Ferguson (Giddens). He was educated in Metro Nashville Public School System.
Frank was the eldest of seven children and definitely the caretaker. He was adamant that everyone be bathed, greased up and lined up on the sofa before his mother came home from work everyday.
Frank worked as a custodian for Hubbard Hospital. Most notable, were his years spent as a caddy at the Richland Golf Course.
Most days, Frank could be found in the activity room of his building, playing dominoes!
Frank loved coming to church. He was a faithful member of Greater Heights MBC until his death.
On Saturday, January 18, 2025, Frank departed this life for the life eternal. He left peacefully from his temporary home to his home in glory.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother Annie Giddens; brothers, Isiah Ferguson, Sr, Charles (Linda) Blair, Jr and Nathaniel Blair; nephew, Charles Cheatham
He leaves to cherish his memories, sisters – Delores Ferguson and Carol Blair of Nashville, TN and Shirley Jackson of Detroit, MI.; sister-In-Law, Linda Ferguson, Elyria, OH.; nieces and nephews who were the loves of his life. Many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Special thanks to Vanderbilt Health Center Emergency department as well as the Trauma ICU!
