Feliscia Ann Penn was born on March 1, 1972, to the late Freddie Chism and Ms. Demetria (Penn) Patterson. She was educated in the MNPS System. She exchanged her earthly home for her eternal heavenly home on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Feliscia was preceded in death by her grandparents Reverend Willie James and Mrs. Beatrice Penn, grandmother Grace Penn, uncle James Penn, & Aunt Willie Mae Easley,

“Flea” as she was so lovingly called by many that knew her, loved watching Biographies, going to the movies, eating out often and much, she loved to write, and spending time with family and friends. Feliscia accepted Christ at an early age. She loved all kinds of music, especially gospel where she had a passion for playing the drums and playing her tambourine. Feliscia was employed with Comcast Cable Service where she offered EXCELLENT Customer Service for over 5 years. Feliscia was a Founding member of City of Grace Church under the Leadership of Pastor Frank Stevenson.
“Flea” was loved and adorned by all that knew her. Feliscia had a heart for teaching, she taught Literacy classes for Adults, she also taught Adult GED classes, she was a faithful member of “New Life” Outreach Ministries where she served as the President along with Elder Bates, Rega Gross Desiree Taylor, Joann Miller, & Meko Martin, these ladies assisted in feeding Homeless Communities on many, many occasions.
Feliscia was a Woman of God, a Woman of Wisdom, and a Woman of Discernment, she loved to laugh, and she enjoyed life, one that always exemplified God’s love, a very gentle giant. She was always willing to sit and share her wisdom, and she always had a listening ear for anybody that needed to talk, her shoulders were broad enough to cry on. Feliscia was a Jewel while here on earth.
She leaves to cherish her loving and fond memories a very loving and devoted son Furious Omariante Penn, mother Demetria Patterson, sister Pamela Hannah (McKenzie, TN) and brother Thyria “Pree” (Falana) Penn, granddaughter Journey Jeannette Penn, nieces Porche’ Hannah, Raychelle Nevels, & Myia Smith great nephew Jayceon Noah Hannah, uncles Larry Penn, Jessie Easley, aunts Gwendolyn Penn, and Mildred Head, a host of cousins and other family members, a Very Special, loving, devoted, caring, kind hearted Friend, Proximity Partner, and Caregiver Elder Dianne Bates, Furious’s fiancé Lauren Reese, special friends, Mr. David and Mrs. Emma Jean Grimes & Family, Mr. Toney & Mrs. Dea Shea Williams, Shavonda Gibson, Pam Cannon, Jasmine Govan, Shawanda Sekura and DaVita Dialysis Clinic, Mother Shirley Patton, Bishop Minnie Mitchell, Elder Earl & Stephanie Lipscomb and Family, Pastor Ladorger Kirkwood, Minister Sharon Martin, Minister Marcus Rhodes, Minister Howard Garrett, Minister Chante McCroskey, Evangelist Senora Russell & Evangelist Arrie Joffrion, Fredricka Davis, Pamela Carter-Alexander, Artis Drake & Family, Elder Brandon Mason and Locust Ridge Primitive Baptist Church. Her church Family Pastor Nicholas B. Patterson & St. Luke Primitive Baptist Church, Al Brady, Kathy Parker, Carole Peterson, and the Student Body of the Uprise Nashville Career Development Program, and a host of other friends.
