Emmanuel Gordon, Jr.

Emmanuel Gordon Jr. was born July 13, 1963 to the union of Barbara A. Gordon and Joseph Lundy in Miami, Florida. He departed this earthly life on Monday, March 28, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Emmanuel accepted Christ at an early age and he was a member of St. Luke P.B. Church. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Adriane Cloyd on September 6, 2006, they have enjoyed 15 years of marriage.

Emmanuel attended Davidson County Nashville Public Schools, receiving his GED. He was employed as a stocker at the Goodwill in Bellevue, and he also worked at Chick-fil-a and TSU.

Emmanuel was preceded in death by his parents Barbara Gordon and Joseph Lundy.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Adriane D. Gordon, stepchildren, Levi C. Johnson Jr., Tanisha R. Johnson, Charisse L. Johnson, grandchildren, Dailene I. Johnson, Andre D. Steele, Brielle D. Johnson, Ari’elle D. Steele, sisters, Vanessa Smith (Billy) of Orlando, Florida, Joann Lundy of Statesboro, Georgia, brothers, Van Gordon of Miami, Florida, Cornelius Grant of Statesboro, Georgia, Eric Grant of Lacrosse, Wisconsin, Keith Grant of Corpus Christi, Texas, sister-in-law, Linda J. Cloyd, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Viewing Tuesday, April 5, 2022, 1-6pm at funeral home. Visitation Wednesday, April 6, 2022, 11-12pm with funeral to follow at St. Luke PB CHurch 135 Lewis Street. Burial in Greenwood North.
