Elvester Lewis "Lori"

December 8, 1960 — February 15, 2025

Ms. Elvester Lorraine "Lori" Lewis was born December 8,1960 in Nashville, TN to the late Willie Frank Lewis Jr. and Ray Eloise McCutcheon. She departed this fruitful life Saturday, February 15,2025 at Nashville General Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Lori accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was a faithful member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. She was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools. Attended and obtained her High School Diploma from Hume Fogg Technical and Vocational High School in 1979. She then received her Associates and Bachelors Degrees from Aquinas College in Business Administration and Economics in 2009 and 2010.

Lori was employed by Vanderbilt University Medical Center for 34 years, with her most recent position being Manager for Perioperative Support Services.

Lori enjoyed watching tv, especially soap operas and Netflix. She loved shopping on Amazon and decorating for the holidays. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Elvester Lorraine "Lori" Lewis was also preceded in death by niece, Demetria Michelle Lewis.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving, devoted daughter, Courtney C. Lewis (Travis), brothers, Ronald Q. (Regina) Lewis and Edwin A. Lewis, niece Jasmine D. (Andron) Jetton. Also leaving to cherish her memories are 2 great nieces, 7 great nephews, 3 great-great nieces and nephews, Vanderbilt family, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
