Mrs. Elaine D. Woods was born September 8, 1951 in Fayetteville, Tennessee to the union of Charles and Jessie Mae Palmer Dangerfield. She departed this peaceful life on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Creekside Center for Rehabilitation in Madison, Tennessee.
Elaine accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was united with the Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
She was educated in the Nashville Davidson County School System graduating from North High School.
Elaine married the love of her life Raymond Woods who preceded her in death. She was employed by Vanderbilt Medical Center in the Dietary Department. She was blessed to retire and enjoy her life.
In her spare time Elaine enjoyed watching Cowboy Shows and wrestling movies.
In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jessie Dangerfield.
Those left to cherish her memories and celebrate her life are her sisters, Ms. Ruby D. Allen, brother, Charles Leon (Ruthie) Dangerfield, nieces, Margo (Larry) McKissack, Starleen (Patrick) Palmer, Mary (Terentius) Vestal, Letania Oglesby, nephews, Ricky Buckhanon and Sean Allen a host of other relatives and friends.
