VAUGHAN, Dr. Verla Age 64 of Nashville. February 23, 2013. She taught nursing at TSU, where she taught with passion & excellence. She is survived by husband of 41 years, Harry Vaughan; children: Sydney Kevin Aldridge, Tracey (Terry) Dixon, Kimberly Vaughan and Harriet (Scott) Wallace; grandchildren: Kayla Vaughan, Amber Quarles and Taniya Dixon; siblings, Will Johnson, Jr., Donnie F. (Greg) Jenkins, Buford Williams & Lucinda Williams Briggs; friends, Dr. Otis & Carol Campbell. Services are Thursday at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 1700 Heiman Street.
