Dr. Fannie Mae Cathey

CATHEY, Dr. Fannie Mae Age 66, passed away June 25, 2012 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Dr. Cathey was a Professor in the Dept. of Teaching and Learning at T.S.U., and the Director of Teacher Education and Student Services. She was named Teacher of the Year in 2004. She is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Clark Cathey, Sr.; loving children, Mari Lyn, Clark Jr., Kenneth and Carlos Cathey; sisters, Patricia Parrot, Essie Warren & Linda Fay Wheatley; brothers, Johnny & June Griffin; 7 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
