Dorothy Jean Miller

Dorothy J Miller was born Janaury 22, 1935 in Booneville, MS to the late Louverta Williams and Bill Weeks. She departed this earthly life and gained heavenly her wings on Tuesday December 12, 2023.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother Louverta Williams, father Bill Weeks, sons Maxcell, James and Michael Miller, and grandson Carl Reed.
Momma Miller as she was known across Nashville received her education with the Prentiss County School System in Booneville, MS.
After moving to Nashville she opened and operated the Miller Family Day Care. With her love of helping others and her love for children she operated this child care center for over 30 years. Momma Miller loved spending time with her family, traveling back home to Mississippi, sitting on her porch, sharing memories of her childhood, and most importantly telling everyone how good GOD is.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted children: daughters— Martha Murphy, Charlene (Tim) Minnifee, Shirley Miller all of Nashville, TN, Deloise Uwaje of Lithonia, Ga. Sons—Carl (Teresa) Miller and Danny Miller both of Nashville, TN. Sister Mattie Williams of Booneville, MS, Bonus sister/best friend Frankie Pope, sister in laws Ida Moment, Bonnie (William) Bryant both of Nashville, TN. and Patricia Williams of Booneville, MS. Also, cherishing her memories 28 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
