Dianna Lee Battle-Woodland

Dianna Lee Battle Woodland was born on December 15, 1948 in Lewisburg, Tennessee to Lela (Mclean) Mayes and John Henry Battle.  She departed this life on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Dianna was educated in Marshall County Public Schools, graduating from Marshall County High School in Lewisburg, Tennessee. She continued her education by attending David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dianna accepted Christ at an early age at Second Avenue Church of Christ in Lewisburg. She was united in Holy Matrimony to James A. Woodland, they enjoyed a number of years together, until his passing.

Dianna was employed as a Tax Preparer and Bookkeeper for many years until she retired.

Dianna was preceded in death by her husband, James Woodland, parents, John H. Battle and Lela Mclean Mayes, and brother, Franchot M. Allen.

She leaves to cherish her memories brother, Cedrick Allen, sisters Gretchen (Rick) Williams, Lytasha (Ray) Buchanan, nephews, Bryan (Latrise) Allen, Marques Johnson, Gus Scott, Tre Buchanan, Antonio Allen, Khori Williams and Franchot M. Allen, Jr.,  nieces, Tasha Scott, Dominique Allen, aunt, Ruth Donnelly, and a host of great nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
