Deford Bailey, III

Deford Bailey III, ffectionately known as “Bubba D,” was the third born of ten children, born May 12, 1955, to the union of Deford Bailey, Jr. and Dorothy Bailey, in Nashville, TN. Bubba D. was educated in Metro Nashville Public Schools, where he graduated from North High School class of 1973. He had a keen ear for music, a natural-born drummer. His music career flourished and opened the door to many performances across the world. Deford Bailey III’s physical life ended on May 28, 2022.  He is now resting with the Lord and will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones. 

 Viewing Friday, June 3, 2022, 1-6 at funeral home. Visitation Saturday, June 4, 10-11am with funeral to follow at Faith United Missionary Baptist Church 600 Revels Drive. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery North 1248 South Dickerson Road, Goodletsville, Tn.
