Curtis Gordon, Jr.

Curtis Gordon Jr., was born on October 31, 1964 in Bronx, New York to Curtis and Lillian Anne Gordon and departed this life on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the of age 56.

Curtis was educated in the Bronx District and Metropolitan Nashville Davidson County School Systems. He graduated from Hillwood Comprehensive High School in 1983. He worked at the Nom Nom Company in Nashville, TN for two years. Curtis was baptized at an early age at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend James Cook. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Susie V. Taylor, William and Flora Hicks, father, Curtis Gordon Sr., brother Darrel Gordon, uncles Theodore Staples Sr., Harold Gordon Sr., Samuel Hicks, Hershel, Carnell and Nathaniel Barnett. Aunts, Aquanetta Hicks, Amanda and Bobbi Barnett.

Curtis leaves to mourn his memory, devoted mother, Lillian Anne Gordon, brother, David (Latonya) Gordon, nephews Justin and Joshua Gordon, nieces, Maya and Jasmine Gordon, aunts, Sabrina Hicks and Connie (AJ) Johnson, uncles, Nathaniel (Lynette) Hicks, William (Cynthia) Hicks. great cousin, Constance Plantt, wife, Tina Gordon, friends, Keith Fontaine, Quinton Bright, William McKissack, Tierra Dunn and Robert Dunn as well as a host of cousins and other friends.

Curtis was known for his stoic demeanor and sensitive nature. He loved his family and was well known to his family and friends as “Lil Curt” he loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.Age 56, Passed away October 29, 2021.Viewing Friday, November 5, 2021, 1-6, visitation Saturday, November 6, 2021, 2-3 with funeral to follow at Terrell Broady Funeral Home. Burial in Hills of Calvary Cemetery.
