Clifford Greer, 78, of Clarksville, Tennessee closed his eyes on the morning of 12/8/2023 from natural causes. His loss was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.
Mr. Greer was born on 8/1/1945 to John Nelson & John Lillie Greer in Nashville, Tn. He attended Meigs High until the 11th grade. After leaving high school, he enlisted in the Army & served a short term in the Vietnam War.
He worked as a packer at Meadow Gold in Nashville for many years, eventually retiring from the Nashville Auto Auction. Clifford gave his life to Christ late in life at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church. There he served as a deacon for many years then at New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church.
Clifford's hobbies were fishing, hunting, movies, card games and spending time with his family. Anyone who knew him, knew that he was loving, caring, and loved to smile.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, daughter (Tonya Greer) & all his siblings (John D. Greer, Deanie Bell, Nannie Greer & David Greer). He leaves behind his wife Theresa Greer. Children: Clifford A. Greer (Angelique); Lashanda Rucker-Richardson (Jerromye); Clifford X. Seay (Nikia); Cleo R. Greer & Cliffeny Greer-Gaines (Donnie).
Clifford’s legacy will live on through his grandchildren, great grandchildren, niece s, nephews, cousins, stepchildren, family, and friends who knew and loved him. He will be missed more than words can say.
