Mother Clara Campbell age 98 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was born November 15, 1926, in Franklin, Tennessee to James and Ethel Lee.
Clara’s unwavering dedication shone through in her Second Missionary Baptist Church membership in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
Clara was a woman of many interests. She graduated from Williamson County High School in 1947 and was loved by many for her great personality and giving nature. Her hobbies, which she pursued passionately, included sewing, reading, singing, gardening, keeping and painting her fingernails, and keeping up with current events.
Clara was preceded in death by both parents, James and Ethel Lee, husband of 60 years, Clem A. Campbell, son, Albert Campbell, daughters, Deborah Battle and Avis Campbell. She was the youngest of 13 children who all preceded her in death as well.
Those left to cherish her sweet memories, children, Stanley Campbell (Shirley), Brenda Prime, LaNese Campbell, Sandra Campbell, and Dexter Campbell, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, five nieces, and three nephews, her church family and other friends.
