Charlie Aaron Boyd

Mr. Charlie Boyd was born January 17, 1948 in Mansfield, Tennessee to Travis Boyd and Esevean Teague. He passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at his residence in Paris, Tennessee.

Charlie was educated in the Henry County Schools and was a 1965 graduate of Central High School.  He was married to Peggy Ann Terry Boyd on December 27, 1967. She preceded him in death.

Charlie served his county in the United States Armed Forces Branch of the Army from 1967 – 1969. He received a National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Army Commander Medal he received an honorable discharge.

He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. Charlie was employed by Emerson Electric and was blessed to retire after many years of service.

Charlie was also preceded in death by his parents, Travis Boyd and Esevean Teague, mother-in-law, Edna Mae Terry, brother, Travis Boyd, Jr., and sister, Lucille Kinley.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed fishing, hunting, visiting family, and watching cowboy movies. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted daughter, Katrina(Gary) Teague, son, Tony Boyd, grandchildren, Jabarr Teague, Chicago, IL., Aaron(Amber) Teague, Jeremy (Lindsey) Teague, Tony Wesolowsky, Gabrielle Boyd, all of Paris, Tn., 10 great-grandchildren, 2, great-great-grandchildren, sister, Annie Capps, a host of other relatives and friends.
