Mr. Charles Reginald Patton was born August 29, 1954, in Manchester, Tennessee to the union of Percy Patton, Sr. and Alice Juanita Childress.

Charles departed this peaceful life on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Charles accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was currently united with Braden United Methodist Church. He received his formal education in Davidson County graduating from Hume Fogg High School.

Charles was united in marriage to Susie Childs on August 15, 1975. After high school Charles enlisted in the United States Armed Forces branch of the Marines and later enlisted in the army. He served his country and received an honorable discharge from both branches.

After his service to his country, he came home and was employed in the landscaping business.

In his spare time Charles enjoyed playing cards and watching movies. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Percy Patton, Jr. and devoted aunt, Alice Joyce Elam.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Susie Patton, daughter, Stephanie Patton, grandsons, Deterius, Brandon, Trevon and Ke-Andre’ Patton, 6 great-grandchildren, devoted cousins, Ashawnee Elam and Shawn Elam and a devoted friend Willie Russell a host of other relatives and friends.
