Charles Anthony Williams

On the beautiful sunrise of March 24, 1965 Charles Anthony Williams Sr. was born to the late Percy and
Elzie Williams. Charles Anthony Williams Sr. B.K.A. “Tony” passed away suddenly Monday, January 8 th ,
2024, surrounded by an abundance of faith, love, encouragement, and laughter.

Tony was educated in Nashville’s Davidson County School System. Later on in life Tony decided to attend
Tri-State Semi Driver Training School, because he wanted to follow in his oldest brother’s footsteps.
Tony was a hardworking man; he had many job titles under his belt. He worked at Tony Romas, Jiffy
Lube, Ham and Goody, Detailing Cars, Nissan, Beaman, Rodizio, and Penne Pazze to name a few.

Tony was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and co-worker. He was an avid sports
fan who loved the Tennessee Titans and the St. Louis Rams. Tony’s hobbies included grilling, fishing, and
working on his much-loved truck. Tony was known for telling jokes and being the life of the party. He
made friends everywhere and always wore a smile. He professed his life to Christ where he joined
Tabernacle Baptist Church and sung in the choir.

Tony was proceeded in death by his parents, Percy and Elzie Williams, sister, Lucille Strang, brothers,
Percy and David Williams, and loving friend, Geraldine Williamson.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted daughter, Chantae Jackson, son, Charles Williams
Jr., mother of his children, Renee Jackson, devoted partner, Lois McClain, sisters, Dianne Winfield, Janice
Williams, aunt, Sylvia Strange, nieces, Marcia Boyd, Tamara Williams, LaShay Owens, Stacy Winfield, and
Carey Williams, nephews, Marvin Boyd, Robert Winfield, a host of great nieces and nephews, devoted cousins, Debbie McBride, Susan McClora, and Nick Strange, loving and devoted friends, Ivy Bass, Carl Endsly, Chad Bell, and the staff and co-
workers of Nissan Corporation and Penne Pazze.
