Cassie Cooper

Mrs. Cassie Berry Cooper was born August 8, 1927, in Fayetteville, Tennessee to the union of Elmer Berry and Dorsie Shelton Berry. She departed this sweet life on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Cassie accepted Christ as her Personal Savior at an early age and was currently united with Jefferson Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Cassie was educated in the Fayette County Schools and Cohn Adult Center.

She was united in matrimony to Charlie Willie “CW” Cooper.

She was employed by Vanderbilt Hospital for many years and later in Childcare. She was blessed to retire.

In her spare time Cassie enjoyed sewing, cooking, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Cassie was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Dorise Berry and husband, CW Cooper.

Those left to cherish her memories are her sister, Ella B. Reese, nieces, Darlene Berry, Betty Sherley, Pam Williams, nephews, William Berry and Willie Reese, a host of grandchildren, and great-grand and great-great-grandchildren, devoted cousin, Dorothy “Dot” and Ronnie Talley, Zarelda “Ziggy” Shelton, Jefferson Street Church Family, Clara Hyde, Diane Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Darden, William ‘Bill” Hood and many other relatives and friends.
