Carolyn Delores Lipscomb

Carolyn Delores Lipscomb was born January 29, 1953, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of James Dobbins and Emma Mae Hilliard Lipscomb. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 3, 2025, at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Carolyn was baptized in the Church of Christ at Jackson Street. She attended Nashville Davidson County Public Schools and was a 1971 graduate of Pearl High School.

Carolyn enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces branch of the Army where she served her country proudly. After her 4 years of service, she continued with the National Guard. Carolyn knew the importance of education, so she continued her education by attending Nashville Technical Junior College and studied Business at Watkins Institute.

She was employed by the State of Tennessee as a Medical Transcriptionist Clerk for several years. She retired from Heritage Medical.

In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and grilling, especially hot dogs which she would pass out to children.

Those left to cherish her memories are his nephews, De’Edrick Alexander, nieces,  Jade Alexander, Laiyah Alexander, Jasmine Nevels, sister, Cynthia Alexander, friends, Clinistine, Robyn, Marisa, Hattie, Aletha, and a host of other relatives and friends.
