Carolyn Denise Edmondson-Waters

Carolyn Denise Edmondson-Waters was born on April 5, 1961 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Lieu Kirkwood and Sylvia Ann Stone. She entered into rest Saturday, October 1, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Carolyn was educated Nashville Davidson County Public Schools. She was an alumnus of Pearl High School and worked various jobs until her health declined.

Carolyn accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Percy J. Clark where she was known as the "tambourine lady".

Carolyn was united in Holy Matrimony to Darry E. Waters for a number of years, until his untimely passing.

Carolyn was kind and gentle spirited person that was always willing to help others that was in need. She loved to play jokes and pranks. She loved spending time with her family, skating, shopping, spending money and playing bingo.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Darry E. Waters, parents, Sylvia Ann Stone, Lieu Kirkwood, and brothers, Stanley L. and Arnold  J. Edmondson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her only living sister, Michelle Holmes (Demetrice Odom), Nephews- Kenneth Holmes and Demetrice Holmes, Nieces- Demetria Holmes, Katrice Holmes, Great niece, Kenzye Wright, Great Nephews- Ky'Air Holmes, Ma'Kai Beasley, and a host of relatives and friends.
