Carl White, Jr.

Carl White Jr. “Pops” was born on September 16, 1957 to the parents of Ethel M. and Carl White in Nashville, Tennessee. He was called home to with his Lord and Savior on November 17, 2021. He peacefully answered his call and joined in eternal life his grandparents, Hugo & Lucille Dowlin; uncle, Marvin Langford; aunt, Lillie Olds; nephew, Patrick Ellis; and numerous cousins and friends.
Carl was educated in the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools system. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Bass Steet Missionary Baptist Church.
Carl was taught the importance of loving your family and having a relationship with God. He loved his family and enjoyed grilling and shining shoes in his spare time.

He leaves to cherish is his memories his parents, Ethel M. and Carl White (Chicago, IL); sons, Carl (Tianna), Carlos (Bonnie), Varshawn (Teronda); sisters, Lauietta Knight, Shaviona Bright, Janet Lewis, Deacon E. Lorean Pointer, Elizabeth Jones, Victoria Crum; aunt, Elizabeth Banks; grandchildren, Carl Anthony Jr, Tasia, Tatyanna, Ke’Shawn, Courtersy White; Denisia Brodie, Adrianna White, Jaylin Womack, Carlos A. White Jr., Kevin, Kevon, Keyosha, Jaquoria Johnson; nieces, Samatha Williams, Angelia Dobbins, Michelle Tate; nephews, Steven Pointer, Noah Muhammad, Marlon Knight, Toni Lewis, Phillip Davis, Phillip Jones; a long time girlfriend, Gerri King; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him. Visitation Tuesday December 7, 2021, 11-12 with funeral to follow at funeral home.
