Birdie Joyce Mosley Bond

Birdie Joyce Mosley Bond was born February 28, 1944 in Houston, Mississippi to the union of Lizzie and Ulysses Mosley. She entered into rest on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Birdie accepted Christ and was united with World of Life Christian Center. She received her formal education in Denmark, Tennessee, attending West High School. She continued her education in Nashville, Tennessee at Tennessee State University.

Birdie was united in Holy Matrimony to George M. Bond July 8, 1966 in Geneva, New York and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage.

Birdie was employed with Service Merchandise, Nashville Home Health Agency, Bordeaux Bizarre, Birdie’s Boutique and Hammond’s Upholstery. She enjoyed Basketball, Upholstery, Sewing, and Cooking.

Birdie was preceded in death by U.L. Mosley, Eloise Gladney, Joe Lee Mosley, and Shirley Bond.

She leaves to cherish her memories George Bond, Anneka Bond, Kaz Bond, Junakita Bond, Jeiel Bond, Joshua Bond, Kianu Bond, Xialaya Bond, Betty Walker, Mable Dansby, Claretha Hennings, Dorothy Fuller, Georgia Williams, Pamela Cole-Talley, Brenda Golden, Linda Parker, Jerome Rutherford, James Rutherford, and also leaving behind a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
