Billie Hailey Hayes

Mrs. Billie Sue Hailey-Hayes was born on November 17, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Marvin Hailey Sr. and Martha L. Hailey in Nashville, Tennessee. She entered into rest on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mrs. Billie professed her life to Christ at an early age and became a member of New Hope M.B. Church, under the pastorate James. C. Turner, Sr. She was educated in the Davidson County Public Schools.

Ms. Billie Hailey was united in Holy Matrimony in 1977 to the love of her life Mr. George Hayes Jr., and they have enjoyed 55 years of marriage.

Mrs. Billie was a very dedicated employee in the Lab at St. Thomas Hospital West for 30 years. She loved traveling, swimming, and going on weekend trips. She belongs to the Red Hatters, Young @ Hearts at Temple Church, and the Prime Timers Missionary.

Mrs. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Hailey Sr. and Martha L. Hailey, siblings, Marvin, David, John Thomas, Nancy, Karol, Marion.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories devoted husband, George E. Hayes Jr., devoted son, Rev. Terence (Cheryl) Hailey Sr., devoted daughter, Tanya Monique Kenner, devoted Goddaughter, Donna West, stepdaughter, Tamba Hayes, devoted granddaughters, Kia Kenner, Princess Patton, devoted grandson, Christopher Kenner, grandchildren, Airman Ta’vares Hailey, Terence Hailey Jr., Tamika B. Hailey, Tera Hailey, Terri Hailey, LaTasha Hailey, a host of great grandchildren, devoted Kaleigha Clemmons, sisters-in-law, Sharon Hailey, Christine Hailey, June (Adolph) Flowers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, devoted niece, Nancy Transou, close friends, Mrs. Pat Clark, Ms. Joyce Cole, Ms. Elma Webster, Ms. Delores Fentress, a host of other relatives and friends.
