Betty Jean Zachery

Mrs. Betty Jean Zachery was born on June 7, 1935, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Jessie and Oliver Thompson. She departed this life on Thursday, October 26^th, 2023, at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Betty received her formal education in Metro Nashville Public Schools, graduating from Pearl High School. She continued her education by attending Tennessee State University.

Betty was united in Holy Matrimony to William Lynch Zachery Sr., and three children were born to this union.

Betty accepted Christ at an early age and united with Hillsboro Church of Christ. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her!

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Zachery Sr., and her parents, Jessie and Oliver Thompson.

She leaves to cherish her memories sons, William Lynch Zachery Jr., Bertram Maurice (Sabrina) Zachery, daughter, Demetria Jean (Charles III) Robinson, grandchildren, Demetria B’Jean Robinson, Charles Henry Robinson IV., Bertram Maurice Zachery Jr., and a host of other family and friends.
