Beatrice D. Pierce, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024. Born in Dickson, Tennessee, on October 25, 1950, to JB Edmondson and Juanita Ruby Bell, Beatrice brought warmth, wisdom, and joy into the lives of all who knew her.
Known for her unshakeable strength and joyful spirit, Beatrice left a lasting impact defined by kindness, compassion, and love for her family and friends. Family was her greatest joy, and she was devoted to creating a warm, loving home filled with cherished memories. Her faith was a guiding light, grounding her through life’s challenges and shaping her values. Beatrice had a generous soul, always there to lend a helping hand, offering encouragement and support to those around her.
Beatrice worked at Aladdin Industries after high school, dedicating over 20 years to the company before retiring in 1989. She not only excelled in her work but also formed deep, lasting friendships with her coworkers, who remember her as a dependable friend and confidante. Her kindness and compassion endeared her to everyone, and her friendships extended well beyond her workplace, bringing joy and support to her life and to the lives of all she touched.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her eldest son, Chauncey Pierce. She is survived by her children, Michael and Cornelius Pierce, along with her daughters-in-law, Kelly Pierce and Tammy Cooper. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren, Chauncey Pierce Jr., Marquis Johnson, Sydney Garcia, Kiyah Pierce, Treyvon Pierce, and Damia Pierce, as well as numerous great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters, Francis Hollinsworth, Rachel Wimberly, and Sandra Rizo, with her sister Dorothy Greer and brothers-in-law Lawrence Hollinsworth and Al Rizo preceding her in death. Beatrice’s memory will be cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Though she may no longer be with us, Beatrice’s spirit and the love she shared live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
