Barbara Gale Mason

Barbara Gale Mason was born on January 3, 1954 in Clifton, Tennessee to the late Nettie J. Lynum and Cecil Lynum. She departed this earthly life on January 23, 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee. Barbara accepted Christ at an early age and always believed in the Lord throughout her life and later united with Born Again Church. She was educated in the Wayne County School System until she moved to Nashville and graduated from the historic Cameron High School. After high school, she went on to attend and complete her requirements for nursing school. Barbara was employed many years as a nurse at Parthenon Pavilion, Dual Diagnosis, and Ascend. Her passion was reading and writing. She wrote the play Heart Conditions which was performed at Born Again Church. She loved spending time with her family and she will truly be missed! She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Nicole Mason; grandson, Corey Barbee and a host other relatives and friends.
