Barbara Anne Dennis Coleman

Ms. Barbara Anne Coleman, age 81 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee.  Barbara was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Doris and Roberta Dennis.  She was a graduate of Pearl High School, Class of 1958.  She worked for First American Bank for 35 years, in Nashville, Tennessee and Stein Mart Department Store Part-time for 20 years.

As a member of Pearl High School Reunion Committee, her responsibility was organizing Tennessee State University Big Blue Club. Barbara was the Director of Journal De-Modes Modeling Agency from 1975- 1988.  After retirement, Barbara loved to shop and plan family get-togethers and cared for her parents.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Dorris and Roberta Dennis; three siblings, Dorris Jr., Raymond Sr., Beverly Starling; brothers in law, Ulysses Bryant, and JaJuan Cooksey, grandson.

Those left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Josephine Bryant, Michael (Michelle) Dennis, I, three children, Leonard (Deborah) Coleman Sr., Troy Coleman, Sr., Bonita Coleman (Vicci); four grandchildren, L. C. Coleman, Troy Coleman, Keanu Coleman, JaJuan Cooksey; sister-in-law, Sylvia Dennis and a host many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday, April 16, 2022, 9-10am with funeral to follow at funeral home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery North
