Ashley Moorehead

Ashley Ernestine Hadley Morehead was born on April 24, 1984, to Thomas Morehead and Nena Hadley Morehead in Davidson County. She entered into rest August 31, 2023. Ashley accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church where she grew up. She attended metro public schools. Growing up Ashley loved spending time with her brother and cousins.

Preceeding her in death was her mother Nena Hadley Morehead, her maternal grandparents Ernestine and Roosevelt Roper, her paternal grandparents Clarence and Mary Morehead, Uncles Edwardo Morehead and James Hardin, and Aunt Celestine Morehead.

Ashley leaves to cherish her memories children Solomon Morehead, Elijah Ostine, and Nena Ostine, Father Thomas Morehead, brother Joshua (Rozita) Morehead. Aunts Avis Hardin, Vicki Roper, Enna (Donovan) Johnson, Tawanda (Charles) Starks, Melonie (Eddie) Kinnard, Regina (Lamont) Buchanan, Natasha (David) Slee. Uncles Victor Morehead, Gregory Morehead, Rufus (Yolonda) Roper, and a great niece, and a host of nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
