Anna Catherine Harris was born on April 22, 1940 to Lawson Hardge Sr. and Beulah Mae Hardge in Nashville, Tennessee. She is survived by her husband, Karlen Christopher Harris, Sr., daughters Karla Payton (husband, William), Karen Sharpe, Gilliane Turner (husband, Jack); son, Karlen C. Harris, Jr.; brother, Mark Hardge (wife, Yolanda) and sister, Francene Barbour; grandchildren David Sharpe and Deandra Hayden; many great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter, several nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
She was joined in matrimony with Karlen Harris, Sr. on December 1, 1972. They were happily married for 52 years. She really loved her family and all her friends.
Anna faithfully served Jehovah for many years. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 1, 1966 in Ohio. She served as a Regular Pioneer for 25 years. She had the privilege of serving in a number of places, Elyria, Ohio, Newnan, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee.
Anna and Karlen Sr. worked together to aid many individuals to the point of dedicating their lives to Jehovah. She really enjoyed the Ministry.
She had a very loving and generous spirit, always looking for opportunities to do positive things to help others.
She really enjoyed cooking and was very good at it, even providing many delicious dishes at many theocratic and congregation activities.
In spite of her many health challenges she maintained a positive attitude, always having that friendly smile and encouraging words.
The resurrection hope was very dear to her and we look forward to welcoming her back in the New World when Jesus awakens her from the sleep of death, as he did with Lazarus. --John Chapter 11; John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4
