Alma L Bumpers

Alma L. Bumpers was born May 12, 1928 in Womack Hill, Alabama to the union of Norman Johnson and Phillipi Walker Johnson both deceased. She departed this peaceful life at the age of 95 on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Creekside Center for Rehabilitation Center.

In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by stepfather, John Walker Sr., brothers: John WalkerJr. (Lora), Otis Walker(Dorothy), Joe Eddie Walker (Jean), Curtis Walker (Billie), Charles Walker (Gwen),Glenwood Walker (Evelyn) and sister, Kathryn Walker Bassett (Eli).

She leaves to cherish in memory her son, Gerald Wayne Davis (Caroline), daughter, Phyllis Robinson. Grandchildren: Gerald Davis (Jerry),Alec Davis, Harriette Michelle Davis, Erik Davis, Briar Cotter, Tracy Robinson, Lorrie Robinson, Irunn Robinson II, LaKoi Berry and Brittania Shepherd. Twenty-one great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Among those that she cherished are her goddaughter, Linda Gordon, forever friends, Callie Lewis, Betty Price, and Darine Davis. Devoted cousins, Joyce Thompson, Jean Burruss, Berda Lee Shaw, Shoug Philon and a host of nephews, nieces, and friend
